Not bored of shopping yet? Well, you’re in luck, as the Boxing Day/January sales have just kicked off, and you can score some serious bargains if you’re smart enough.
Now is the time to stock up on gifts for Valentine’s, Mother’s Day and early 2017 birthdays while everything is half price. Beauty and body care gifts are perfect as they aren’t going to go off before you need them. And there might even be some goodies worthy of spending your Christmas money on too.
The Boots sale is always a big one, with most of their big gift sets slashed to 50% off, the best stuff will sell out quickly, but wait around and you’ll see prices drop to 70% off or even better mid January. This is the biggest sale they have all year, and some of these brands are rarely discounted elsewhere.
The best brands on offer include Smashbox, Liz Earle, Soap & Glory, bareMinerals, Ted Baker and No7. We also recommend you take a look in store, because a lot of the best stuff has sold out online already.
Soap & Glory Kohl Eyed (three eyeliners for a fiver! – So good!)
All of the Ted Baker gift sets – there’s so much stuff for under a tenner, definitely worth a look.
Urban Decay Perversion gift set – £16.08 instead of £24, and the two full sized products are worth £34. A major saving.
Benefit Girl Gone Wow – full size They’re Real mascara and POREfessional, plus Gimme Brow and two more minis for £26. Bargs.
There’s 30% off quite a few gift sets and older formulas from Clarins, plus you get three free samples on any order. Great if there’s a skincare junkie with a birthday coming up.
Party Time Box – six beauty products including everything from fragrance to mascara, plus some tea, all for £28 instead of £40. We think this one would be incredible for Mother’s Day.
Coloured Raine Matte Liquid Paint – only £8 and there’s some really wearable colours included at that price.
So many high end brands at half price, go and take a look.
Kevyn Aucoin The Contour Book – get those cheekbones chiselled for £24 instead of £48. And there’s free samples with every order.
Lipstick Queen The Lip Parade – three amazing quality lipsticks for £22, that’s £7.33 each, so it’s definitely worth a look.
Love trying out new makeup trends? Cruelty free brand Illamasqua’s sale is one of the best on the web, for most shops you’ll usually get better things in store, but there are only a handful of standalone Illamasqua shops in the country, so all the best buys are online.
Chisel and Glow gift set – if you’re looking for new contouring products you’re getting Illamasqua’s Gel Sculpt (it’s really well reviewed and it’s £22 by itself) as well as a highlighter and a brush for only £25.
Illamasqua nail varnish – the sale shades are £4.35 instead of £14.50 so it’s a big saving on really unique colours with a nice formula.
