This week I was lucky enough to get to attend the Primark Autumn/Winter preview, and of course I got plenty of photos of all the beauty bits for you to take a look at. Get ready for a proper brush range, setting sprays, new eyeshadows and loads more, all at pocket money prices.
Some of the items below are already in stores (I’ll tell you if they are). But you’re going to want to get a heads up on some of the new products coming out soon. I’m not sure on prices/release dates for them but I’ll try and find out!
Brushes

Pictured L-R: 120 circular concealer brush, 121 precision concealer brush, 242 angled liner & brow brush, 241 bent precision eyeliner brush, 243 brow brush, 250 pencil and powder smudge brush, 251 eye & crease contour brush, 252 eyeshadow blending brush, 118 large fan brush, 102 foundation blending brush.

Pictured L-R: 106 buffing and blending brush, 116 tapered blush brush, 101 HD kabuki brush, 115 large powder brush, 110 foundation and contour brush, 111 flathead contour brush, 107 buffing brush, 103 duo blending brush.
Now, I’m sorry but HOW GOOD do these look? Primark have put out brush collections before, but they’ve tended to be a glittery 5 brush kit aimed at beginners. This set is definitely meant for a more grown-up consumer, and fingers crossed they’ll all be available to purchase separately, so we can slot them into our collection.
I think the high street is missing somewhere you can buy affordable brushes in person – so I’m definitely excited for these. They all seemed to be synthetic (great for vegans) and they felt pretty soft!
Notable dupes:
The flathead contour brush looks a lot like the NARS Ita brush (£43), and the duo blending brush looks really close to the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe no 7 brush (£35) which I actually own and am OBSESSED with.
Also, just to note that there were 18 different brushes on show at the preview, but we’re missing a few numbers (there’s no 104 or 105 for example) so hopefully this means that there are even more on their way!
Primers/setting sprays

Pictured: Matte oil-free skin primer, First Base eyeshadow primer, Radiant illuminating primer (I’m sorry I can’t tell what the back thing is, these were so high up!)

Pictured: Hydrate setting spray with rose water, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, PS… primer water.

Pictured: Matte setting spray infused with aloe vera, vitamin B3, kaolin clay and rose water, Glow setting spray infused with vitamin B3, illuminating pearls and aloe vera.
I mean, need I say any more, dupes-wise?
Pictured: Urban Decay setting sprays (£24 each), Smashbox primer water (£22)
I think the primer water, and the matte and radiant primers are all already available at Primark, but the eyeshadow primer and setting sprays are new. I’d definitely be interested in seeing how they compare to their more expensive lookalikes!
Strobe cream
As far as I can tell this is a new product, I’ve found someone on an Irish blog reviewing something that looks similar, but it seems to be a different colour. It’s obviously trying to dupe MAC’s strobe cream (£25), and it’s bound to be less than a fiver, so it’s probably worth a shot.
Eyeshadow

Pictured: eyeshadow in Berry Velvets, Smoke Out and Amber Passion.
I can’t see these on the website, so they must be new. The colours look great for winter, and yes, we know it isn’t even summer yet! We didn’t get on so well with Primark eyeshadows the last time they were reviewed on this blog, but hopefully they’ve improved the formula since then.
Lips
Watch out Kylie Cosmetics, Primark is bringing out a LIPSTICK VAULT! We’ve got no idea how much this is going to cost but it says SS18 on it, so it should be coming into stores any minute now. I wish we’d been able to swatch, some of those nudes look pretty nice.
Primark have had their version of a Lip Kit for a little while now, but I’ve never seen a set with two minis and one lipliner before. It’s definitely a good idea, because who has ever used up a whole liquid lipstick before? They’ve also got boxes of four minis – a nude edit, day to night and the peach edit.
Highlighters

Pictured: Primark highlighters in gold digger, peachin’, mink pink and brunch club.
These are already on the website for £3 each, and they look seriously blinding.
So, what did you think? Are you going to be picking up any of these new makeup releases from Primark?
