In the lead up to Christmas, chances are you’ve been seeing a fair few gift sets being advertised, but are they really much cheaper than buying products individually? Sometimes, if the saving isn’t much, it’s better to just but each thing separate so you can choose special colours and looks that will suit your friends. So are these bags worth it, or are you better off assembling your own? We’re taking a look at  Bay Collections to see if they add up.

Ok, so this article isn’t entirely fair – you do get a make up pouch and instructions with the sets. But that’s not why anyone’s buying these – it’s for the make up. So how great a deal are you really getting? – in Beauty Bay’s case, generally pretty good!

However, the biggest saving may surprise you – SPOILER ALERT: It’s not even the most expensive collection.
