Missed us? Sorry for the total lack of posts in January everyone, we’ve been busy 🙁 … Anyway, we went window shopping in TK Maxx again – so much good stuff, and we’ll give links if they’re available online, too.
Too Faced
By the way, apologies in advance for how dusty everything looks in the photographs, someone had a mishap with some translucent powder and it was all over the display.
On to the products – we spotted the Too Faced Cat Eyes palette (usually £35, only £9.99 in TK Maxx), which we actually bought ourselves before Christmas. It’s really pretty for daytime looks, and it’s small enough to take out and about with you, plus, it’s a tenner!
There were also Too Faced Melted Matte lipsticks in the colours melted metallic bunny and melted metallic dreamhouse, which are both sort of barbie pink colours (dreamhouse is the brightest). They were £5.99 in TK Maxx, where other TF ‘Melted’ lippies are £19 in other stores.
There were lots of these Too Faced Selfie powders, priced at £9.99 – they were sold for £32, and you get three shades of finishing powders. Not bad!
We also spotted Too Faced’s Bulletproof eyeliners in a couple of colours for £5.99 each, these are sold elsewhere for £19! The Perfect Lips lipliner was £9.99 instead of £15, and it’s actually available to buy online, too.
MAC
Have you ever seen MAC at TK Maxx before? Us neither!
It’s probably a good thing though, as the single eyeshadows have an apparent RRP of £16 according to the TK Maxx label, but they’re actually £10 on the MAC website, and they’re being sold for £9.99 here, so a measly saving of 1p. We also saw the MAC Mineralize rich lipstick in the colour Cybernaut, priced at £16.99 – they are £21.50 direct from MAC, so a little saving of £4.50.
They did have the MAC Pro Palette duo for £5.99, but the same product is actually on sale for £4 from House of Fraser at the moment (it’s only £5 at full price). Not a deal at all!
There’s MAC available online at TK Maxx, too.
Mascara bargains
If you need a new mascara, then it is DEFINITELY worth dropping into TK Maxx – this Revlon set was a particular bargain, three mascaras that are usually £9.99 each AND an eyeliner for £16.99. There are lots of these sets on the TK Maxx website, if you can’t get in store.
There were lots of individually packaged Revlon mascaras for £2.99 each. Bargain.
A whole bunch of L’Oreal mascaras for £6.99 each, some of these are £10 in Boots or Superdrug.
Stila
These were really filthy and lidless in our TK Maxx, but Stila Stay All Day eyeliner is supposed to be amazing, it’s £14.50 everywhere online, or £3.99 at TK Maxx. They only had blue and pink in our local, but there may be other colours in yours.
BH Cosmetics
This BH Cosmetics Face Essential 5 piece brush set is £12.99 at TK Maxx or £14.00 at Beautybay.
This Sculpt & Blend 2 set is £20 at Beautybay or £14.99 at TK – a pretty good saving, we think. There are lots of BH Cosmetics brushes on the TK Maxx website.
