Beauty Markdown is a makeup and skincare blog run by two best friends. We try our best to fill the site with interesting and in depth posts about the latest deals, discounts, beauty trends and insider tricks that our readers want to hear all about.
Our aim is to offer something a bit different to the average beauty blog. So we always go the extra mile with our stories, whether it’s asking the British Skin Foundation for their views on fake makeup, using spreadsheets to do the maths to break down whether a deal is really as good as advertised, or just wearing different makeup products on each side of our faces for a whole week.
We started our blog because we wished it already existed, and we knew we couldn’t be alone in that. We saw people spending huge sums of money on beauty products, and often missing out on deals, or being tricked into buying counterfeits – it’s even happened to us before!
